Give It A Go! Murder Most Unladylike

Murder Most Unladylike – Robin Stevens

AR Level: 5.8

Back to the golden age of murder mysteries!

Robin Stevens has been a murder mystery fan since her father gave her an Agatha Christie book when she was 12. So, it’s hardly surprising that she has written a series of murder mysteries set in the 1930’s.

Daisy Wells (tall, blond, gung-ho and aristocratic) and Hazel Wong (short, dark-haired and from Hong Kong) are best friends and would be detectives at Deepdean School for Girls.

Their only case so far has been “Lavinia’s Missing Tie” but when Hazel finds the body of Miss Bell in the gym, all that is set to change.

This is a rattling good story, ideal for any future detectives of 10 or over.
