    The reason we use this basis: This processing is necessary for a contract we have with the individual, or because you have asked us to take specific steps before entering into a contract.
  • We process your information in the following ways: For continuing communication and analytical purposes to improve our services.
    Data retention period: We shall continue to process your information until the contract between us ends or is terminated under any contract terms.
    Sharing your information: We do not share your information with third parties without your prior and explicit consent.

    The reason we use this basis: This processing is necessary for your legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of a third party unless there is a good reason to protect the individual’s personal data which overrides those legitimate interests.
    We process your information in the following ways: To contact with regards to legitimate interests relevant to the company (e.g. children’s books, libraries, etc.), such as book events or opportunities.
    Data retention period: We will continue to process your information under this basis until it is determined that it is no longer necessary, or until you request otherwise.
    Sharing your information: We do not share your information with third parties without your prior and explicit consent.

If, as determined by us, the lawful basis upon which we process your personal information changes, we will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. We shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies
